Between us, we've spent our careers working deep inside enterprise technology — mainframe software engineering, active infrastructure management, network operations. We've seen what well-resourced IT looks like from the inside.
What we kept seeing on the outside was small businesses — dental practices, professional services firms, local retailers — operating without any real security oversight. Not because they didn't care, but because nobody had ever shown them what they were missing or built something affordable enough to fix it.
